How We Got Here
Lisa Aasebo Kennedy – Owner/Facilitator/Performer/Creator of fun!
Lisa originally hails from Vancouver but has called the beautiful East Kootenays her home for over 10 years now. She has been performing professionally live on stages across western Canada for over 35 years - including local gems, Kimberley Summer Theatre and Fort Steele Heritage Town (which first introduced her to this majestic area over 15 years ago).
As a busy mother, environmental steward, and seeker of fun, original, engaging activities and events for all ages, Lisa first began exploring the idea for this company while looking for winter birthday party options for her son. Building off her past experiences of running birthday parties, performing singing telegrams, and facilitating team building workshops in larger centres, Lisa began to create a plan tailored for the East Kootenays.
She looks forward to working closely with the needs of her community, creating partnerships with other small businesses, and offering employment opportunities for local creative types, all while keeping the environmental impact of the business at the forefront of her planning and practices. Mountain Mayhem Fun & Games Co. looks forward to creating memories, bringing your dreams to life, and consistently adding stressless joy to this wonderful life!
